Peru, IN, Oct. 21, 2010 -- A Canadian company that makes flooring for trucks, trailers and shipping containers plans to start operations at a closed plastics factory in northern Indiana.
Conforce International said it will spend more than $13.8 million to buy and equip its factory in the city of Peru.
The factory was owned by Swedish plastics and polymer maker Trelleborg Automotive and had about 200 workers when it was shut down in 2008.
