Tim Baucom Promoted to Lead Shaw’s Residential Business

Dalton, GA, September 15, 2015—Shaw Industries Group announces the promotion of Tim Baucom to executive vice president of Shaw’s residential business, which includes the carpet, hardwood, laminate, resilient and tile product categories.

Baucom joined Shaw in 1992 after spending 11 years with DuPont, where one of his projects was working on the Stainmaster brand launch team. When Baucom joined Shaw, the industry was in the middle of its consolidation frenzy, and Shaw had just acquired Salem. During his tenure at Shaw, Baucom served in both sales and marketing roles in the residential sector before focusing for the last 17 years on the commercial side, where his last role was senior vice president of the commercial business. John Godwin and Scott Sandlin will be on Baucom’s leadership team in this new role.

Bob Chandler will assume Tim's former role as senior vice president of Shaw's commercial flooring business, and Doug Enck will be promoted to vice president of sales, commercial.
