The Mohawk Group and Starnet Decide Not to Renew Partnership Contract

Atlanta, GA, Jan. 14, 2015 – Negotiations to renew The Mohawk Group and Starnet  contract failed to successfully reach a satisfactory agreement for both parties.  As a result, the partnership between Starnet and Mohawk has ended.

Contract negotiations have been on-going since late 2014 and, during Starnet’s winter board meeting in Atlanta this weekend, a mutual decision was made to exit the partnership.

Mohawk’s subsidiary Dal-tile will continue to maintain its status as a preferred vendor partner with Starnet. The Mohawk Group was one of the early suppliers to join Starnet back in the early 90’s so this ends a preferred vendor relationship that has lasted for over 20 years.

Starnet Worldwide is the largest group of commercial contractors in North America with 172 members. Its members specialize in the installation and maintenance of commercial floorcovering.
