Tarkett Completes Desso Acquisition

Paris, France, Jan. 5, 2015 -- Tarkett said it has completed its acquisition of Desso, a commercial carpet and sport fields company based in the Netherlands.

“Through the acquisition of Desso, we strengthen our product portfolio in adding high-end carpets and carpet tiles for our European clients,” Tarkett CEO Michel Giannuzzi said in a press release.

Desso produces high-end commercial carpet but also has a presence in consumer carpet in Europe. It also makes artificial turf.
