Tandus Centiva Employees Participate in Community Service Day

Dalton, GA, March 7, 2016—Tandus Centiva, a Tarkett company, provides the opportunity for its employees to demonstrate the company’s commitment to supporting community organizations and causes.

As part of their annual sales meeting, Tandus Centiva partnered with Clifton Hills Elementary School in Chattanooga, Tennessee; Murray County Animal Shelter in Dalton, Georgia; and the Cherokee County Sheriff Estates in Dalton, Georgia to offer service hours. Over 250 employees performed facility improvement tasks such as painting, new floorcovering installation, assembling of playground equipment and landscaping.

Tandus Centiva Community Service Day began in 2009 as part of their annual sales meeting. Rather than spend the day on traditional team building exercises, the company selected teams that work together to benefit the hosting community. Each year, projects are identified and organized through various partnerships. Tandus Centiva employees enjoy the opportunity to work together for a common cause and build lasting relationships through their team efforts.
