Pennsauken, NJ, May 14, 2012 -- TW Flooring Group, in association with the Dasso Group, said it has acquired EcoTimber, a distributor of FSC certified wood products.
”My shared history with EcoTimber runs deep," said William Jopling, TW Flooring Group’s CEO.
"As I evolved from logging and sawmilling into flooring manufacturing while living in Vermont, I became involved in the early startup of the green wood movement, and EcoTimber and I were original members in Vermont-based Woodworkers Alliance for Rainforest Protection.
"Then, as EcoTimber started to offer flooring, we became an early supplier to them starting with their first commercial projects – the Banana Republic and GAP stores. Over the years, we supplied EcoTimber with many green flooring products including Dasso bamboo flooring.”
