Surya Donates to Nepal Relief Efforts

Calhoun, GA, May 1, 2015--Surya has made a donation of $20,000 to the American Red Cross in support of the organization’s relief efforts in Nepal in the wake of the 7.8 magnitude earthquake that struck the country last week. Donations were collected from Surya employees and sales reps and matched by Surya.

While Surya doesn’t employ weavers in Nepal, the company employs several Nepalese citizens in its Calhoun, Georgia offices.
