Surface Event East Focuses on Education, Networking

Dallas, TX, Aug. 25, 2014 -- Hanley Wood Exhibitions is gearing up for the launch of The International Surface Event East Oct. 19-22 in Miami Beach.

The show will focus on exclusive educational offerings and networking opportunities designed for floor covering, stone and tile industry professionals. 

The show actually encompasses three shows, Surfaces, StonExpo/Marmomacc Americas, and TileExpo and will feature over 50 educational sessions, live demos, new products and trends, off-site tours, and the chance to gain industry-recognized certifications.
Most education sessions are offered before the exhibit hall opens. 

Some of the workshops include:
Inspire Your Customers with Fashion-Led Visual Merchandising, featuring Phil Pond and Victoria Redshaw, with U.K trend forecasting firm Scarlet Opus;

Stone Fabricators Alliance MegaWorkshop: Maximizing Margins, focusing on how to maximize margins and increase profits;

The Experience Retailer Symposium- Get It Right!, presented by Larry Cooper, Textile Consultants and Lewis G. Migliore, LGM and Associates.

An A&D Hospitality Tour: South Beach Sublime, will be held Oct. 21. Attendees will get a behind-the-design tour of two of the hippest properties on Collins Avenue.
Chances for certifications include the ICRI Concrete Slab Moisture Testing Certification Program.

Show management is projecting the exhibit hall will feature over 50,000 square feet of floor covering, stone and tile manufacturers and suppliers.
