Small Business Optimism Rose 1 Point in April, Remains Well Below Average
Washington, DC, May 11, 2016—
The Index of Small Business Optimism rose 1 point to 93.6 in April, according
to the NFIB’s latest Small Business Economic Trends report.
This reading is still much lower than the 42-year historic average of 98 points
and indicates that small business owners continued to express lower optimism
about the economy.
