Shaw Contract Design Award Seeks Entries

Cartersville, GA, Jan. 10, 2014 -- Shaw Contract Group's Design Is…Award program is seeking entries from architects and interior designers.

Deadline is Feb. 28.

The competition asks entrants to define design through the challenges, process and results of their projects.

This year’s program will continue with market awards, of which the winners represent the highest caliber within an industry segment. The market award winners will move on to the global award program and People’s Choice voting later in the year.

“The Design Is… Award continues to champion design excellence across market segments and around the world.” says John Stephens, vice president of marketing for Shaw Contract Group.

Shaw will promote global winners through marketing materials, media outreach and an advertisement campaign in leading A&D publications. In addition, winning firms receive $2,000 to donate to the school or organization of their choice.

All design projects using Shaw Contract Group, Shaw Hospitality Group and Shaw Hard Surface products, completed between February 2012 and February 2014, are eligible.
