Rug Importer Expanding in North Carolina

Edison, NJ, Sept. 20, 2013 -- Rug importer Due Process Stable Trading Company said it has purchased a 91,000 square foot warehouse facility in Lumberton, North Carolina to serve as the new home of the company's rug operation.

Since 2003, Due Process has operated from a 45,000 square foot facility leased in Edison. Due Process will retain a portion of its offices in New Jersey following the move.

The company said it plans to invest nearly $1.4 million over three years in the opening of the new distribution center.

"The purchase of this warehouse provides us the needed space to support the expansion of our operation and allow us to meet the growing needs of our customers," said President David Grasse.

"We selected North Carolina because of its robust textile industry and its crucial proximity to seaports," he added.
