Private Sector Employment Added 185,000 Jobs in July

Roseland, NJ, August 6, 2015 – Private sector employment increased by 185,000 jobs from June to July, according to the June ADP National Employment Report. The report, which is derived from ADP’s actual payroll data, measures the change in total nonfarm private employment each month on a seasonally-adjusted basis.

Small businesses added 59,000 jobs; medium businesses added 62,000 jobs, and large businesses added 64,000 jobs.

The goods-producing sector added 8,000 jobs, while the service-producing sector added 178,000.
