Pergo Launches Specialty Retail Sweepstakes

Raleigh, NC, Sept. 2--This fall, Pergo specialty retailers across the country will offer customers substantial purchase rebates on the flooring of their dreams, as well as the chance to win a $5,000 “Dream Space” room makeover. During the "Create Your Own Dream Space" Sweepstakes, running from September 1 through October 31, Pergo will offer $50 rebates on purchases of 200 – 349 square feet of any Pergo Select or Pergo Vintage Home décor and $100 rebates on purchases of 350 square feet or more. All Pergo consumers who purchase flooring at a participating specialty retailer will be eligible to enter a drawing to win an entire room makeover worth $5,000. Specialty retailers publicized the "Create Your Own Dream Space" Sweepstakes in stores with various point-of-purchase materials provided by Pergo – including window posters, counter cards with tear-off redemption certificates and display signage. Pergo also provided retailers with electronic advertising kits, complete with customizable advertising slicks for both color and monochromatic advertisements in two sizes. Specialty retailers were encouraged to purchase advertising in their local newspapers to support a national advertising campaign that includes USA Today, Coastal Living, Cooking Light, Cottage Living, Sunset, House and Garden and Southern Living.
