Outcomes of "Ceramic Futures" Project to be Presented at Cersaie

Bologna, IT, July 28, 2015—The Architecture Gallery will be hosting a conference presenting the most important design ideas emerging from the third edition of "Ceramic Futures: from poetry to science fiction" at Cersaie on September 30 at 3:00 p.m.

Promoted by Confindustria Ceramica and organized by Edi.Cer. SpA in cooperation with IdLab under the guidance of Stefano Mirti, this social networking project for Italian ceramics has seen the participation of students at Milan Polytechnic, the EnsAD (École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs) in Paris and the IED (Istituto Europeo di Design) in Turin, who have exchanged ideas in the field of design and envisioned new scenarios, applications and potential developments for ceramic products.

The winners of The Community category are Cecilia Arata from IED Turin with the project “Blindness”; Clara Kernreuter from EnsAD in Paris with “Sensitive collective memories”; and Camilla Marini from Milan Polytechnic with the prototype “Snap Futures”.

The winners of the Best Projects category are Alessandro Calabrese from IED Turin with “Freeze this post”; Martina Genovesi from Milan Polytechnic for the project “High on memory”, and Erwan Péron from EnsAD in Paris for the project “Or noir / Black Gold”.
