St. Louis, MO, Nov. 5, 2012 -- National Wood Flooring Association members are partnering with the non-profit organization, EdgeAlliance, to help respond to the needs of homeless veterans.
EdgeAlliance is a leader in supporting individuals and families by providing affordable housing and progressive services to homeless veterans and to children, women and men who have been impacted by HIV/AIDS.
This year, EdgeAlliance is renovating a four-unit Chicago greystone building, which will house eight bedrooms in a total of three apartments (approximately 1,000 square feet per apartment).
NWFA members – Apex Wood Floors, WD Flooring, Shaw Industries Group and Somerset Wood Products – collectively donated labor and 3,000 square feet of wood flooring.
