Mortgage Applications Tick Down Last Week
Washington, DC, Jan. 28, 2015 -- Mortgage application volume fell 3.2% for the week ending Jan. 23 on a seasonally adjusted basis, according to the Mortgage Bankers Association.
Volume fell as mortgage rates ticked up. The 30-year fixed-rate mortgage increased to 3.83% from 3.80%.
Purchase applications declined 0.1% while refinancing applications fell 5.1%.
