Mohawk, Unilin Raising Hardwood Prices 6%

Dallas, TX, Nov. 5, 2012 -- Mohawk Industries said that both its Mohawk and Unilin brands are raising solid and select engineered hardwood prices by 6%.

In both cases, the company cited higher lumber and raw material costs as the reason for the increase.

Unilin's increase covering its Century and Columbia products is effective Jan. 1, while the Mohawk increase goes into effect Dec. 21.
