Maier To Lead Armstrong Flooring Business

Lancaster, PA, Aug. 27, 2014 -- Donald R. Maier will become the new leader of Armstrong's worldwide flooring business as executive vice president and CEO of Armstrong Flooring Products.

Previously, Armstrong said Maier would leave the company at the end of the year.

Maier initially joined Armstrong in 2010 as senior vice president of global operations excellence.

Maier will oversee both resilient and wood flooring operations worldwide, effective Sept. 26. He will succeed Thomas B. Mangas, who also joined Armstrong in 2010.

Mangas will become executive vice president and chief financial officer for Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide.
