M.P. Global Gets Patents for Underlayment

Norfolk, NE, Jan. 10, 2013 -- MP Global Products said that U.S. patents have been awarded to Alan B. Collison and Chad A. Collison, president and vice president, respectively.

The patents protect MP Global's QuietWalk underlayment for laminate floors, which improves acoustic and thermal insulation properties and provides crack resistance.

The patents expand on earlier patents issued to MP Global Products that are directed to its underlayment technology and add to MP Global's protection against counterfeit imitators.
