Lumber Liquidators Sued Over Line of Bamboo

New York, NY, Dec. 15, 2014 -- A class action suit has been filed against Lumber Liquidators in California federal court alleging that a line of bamboo flooring is likely to crack, split, warp and shrink well before its 30-year warranty expires, according to Law 360.

The complaint alleges that the Morning Star brand of bamboo name is defective despite marketing through a variety of channels that claims the product is high quality, finely crafed and free of defects.

The suit says the defective bamboo flooring has caused homeowners to spend thousands of dollars repairing or replacing the flooring long before the end of its 30-year warranty.
