J+J Releases Tech Paper on Flooring's Relationship to Indoor Air Quality

Dalton, GA, November 6, 2015—J+J Flooring Group has issued its latest technical paper, “Flooring and Indoor Air Quality (IAQ)—A Challenge to Common Misperceptions.”

According to the paper, modern research indicates that IAQ can impact academic performance in schools, productivity in office environments and health outcomes among patients and staff in hospitals. As an example, one statistic cited in the paper shows that asthma is one of the most common chronic disorders in childhood. Asthma currently affects an estimated 7.1 million children under 18 and is a main reason students miss school due to illness. As one of the most abundant finishes in the built environment, the proper flooring offers an important opportunity to positively impact IAQ.
