Halex Corp. Acquires APL Brands

Pomona, CA, Dec. 4, 2012 -- Halex Corporation said it has acquired APL Group LLC / Arnold Precision LLC Corporation of Bensalem, Pennsylvania.

The purchase includes the APL Brands of flooring underlayment, carpet tack strip, carpet seam tape, and fastener product lines.

The acquisition will immediately give Halex a manufacturing and distribution base in the Northeast U.S.

Halex said it plans to expand the Bensalem operation to carry all of the major floor installation brands under the Halex banner including Orcon, Capitol, Accuply, Roberts, SureGrip, and VersaShield.
