Green Seal Certifies Host Cleaning Products

Washington, DC, March 20, 2012 -- Green Seal said that Host dry carpet cleaning products have received GS-8 certification, the Green Seal environmental standard for household cleaning products.

GS-08 establishes environmental requirements for general-purpose, bathroom, glass, and carpet cleaners marketed specifically for the use in households or similar residential settings.

The standard includes products performance requirements and environmental and health requirements such as biodegradability and reduced and recyclable packaging. Products that attain certification under the revised GS-08 standard will be the leaders in providing the public with proven low-toxic alternatives to mainstream household cleaners.

Host products are manufactured by Racine Industries.
