Gerflor USA Releases Results of Design Immersion Getaway Promotion

Bensenville, IL, August 28, 2015—Gerflor USA has revealed the top ten designs selected by designers in the recent Creation Collection Design Immersion Getaway promotion.

Participants entered the promotion by voting on which Creation LVT designs were trending in their world, and the results were posted in real time to Facebook. More than 2200 participants, 90% of which were qualified as design professionals, cast nearly 18,000 votes during the course of the promotion. Creation is offered in 58 realistic and easy-to-coordinate designs: 38 woods, 16 stones and 4 textiles. The top ten designs as selected by the participants are:

Caldwell, 29.5% percent of respondents selected this style;

Douglas, 27.5% percent of respondents selected this style;

Portobello, 25.5% percent of respondents selected this style;

Rosewood Moka, 25.4% percent of respondents selected this style;

Albion, 25.2% percent of respondents selected this style;

Deep Forest, 24.6% percent of respondents selected this style;

Rosewood Almond, 24.5% percent of respondents selected this style;

Barma Mystery, 24.5% percent of respondents selected this style;

Barma Sweet, 23.5% percent of respondents selected this style; and

Colombus, 23.3% percent of respondents selected this style.

“Portobello is one of Gerflor USA’s best selling designs, therefore it isn’t surprising that 25% of respondents selected this style as one of the designs trending in their world. Designers also favored some darker browns and rustic woods, which have become more popular in the last few years. Our respondents also chose softer colors and lighter wood tones, including neutrals beiges with gray undertones. The interest in the Rosewood products, which offer some color tone variation within the veneer of the wood and textiles, indicates growing interest in more abstract visuals in the LVT category,” said Catherine Del Vecchio, marketing director of Gerflor USA. “High definition printing allows us to create a myriad of designs and color options that possible only with LVT, and seeing designers embrace this full range of design options is very rewarding.”
