FHFA Says Home Prices Rose in July

Washington, DC, Sept. 25, 2012 -- U.S. home prices rose 0.2% on a seasonally adjusted basis in July from a month earlier, according to the Federal Housing Finance Agency's monthly home-price index.

Compared with a year earlier, home prices were up 3.7%.

June's results were revised to a 0.6% monthly increase from May, compared with an originally reported 0.7% increase.
