Elbert Shaw Dies at Age 91

Dalton, GA, Jan. 22, 2013 -- Elbert G. Shaw, Jr., 91,  died on Sunday, Jan. 20.

Following a career in hospital administration he served as a human resources manager for Shaw Industries for 24 years, taking “early retirement” at age 75. Elbert was responsible for hiring many of the personnel who are now in leadership positions at Shaw.

A service will be held Thursday, Jan. 24 at 11 a.m at Christ Church Presbyterian.
