Distributor Haines Acquires CMH Space

Distributor JJ Haines said it has acquired distributor CMH Space of Wadesboro, North Carolina, effective Jan. 17.
According to a notice to customers, the companies will continue to operate as two separate companies during the integration period.

A new Haines multi-division sales structure will be finalized by the end of the year with the support of a common base of operations and back office functions, the company said.

According to the CMH website, "Haines’ relationship with Armstrong will strengthen with the creation of a dedicated Armstrong division in the Mid-Atlantic responsible for driving sales of Armstrong products in this geography."

"We have many things to figure out in the coming months, such as branding and sales coverage," Haines said.
