Deadline for Vision Design Awards Extended Until March 9

Chattanooga, TN, March 1, 2016—The deadline for the Vision Design Awards has been extended until March 9.

The competition is accepting entries from architects and design firms throughout North America.

The goal of this contest is to recognize and reward great design. The competition was created to celebrate the dynamic integration of flooring and architecture. Each year, the Vision Awards attracts an impressive array of design entries from around the country.

Unlike many design competitions, all product and firm names are stripped from the entries to ensure that the jury chooses winners based solely on design merit, free of outside influence.

Since the inception of the Vision Awards, the contest has been fortunate to rely on forward-thinking sponsors who support the concept of a blind jury process and allow any project to be entered, regardless of the type of flooring that was installed. Bentley Mills, Crossville Tile and Johnsonite – a Tarkett Company have partnered with Floor Focus from the beginning.

The five categories for entries are corporate, healthcare, education, hospitality and retail. Winners will be featured in the April issue of Floor Focus Magazine and will receive a cash prize along with an expense paid trip to the annual Celebration Weekend in September.
