Consumer Sentiment Cools in July
Ann Arbor, MI, July 12, 2013 -- Consumer sentiment edged down in July, according to the Thomson Reuters/University of Michigan preliminary index of consumer sentiment.
The index decreased to 83.9 in July from 84.1 the month prior.
Economists expected a gain to 84.7. The index reached an almost six-year high of 84.5 in May.
