Construction Declined in March

Arlington, VA, April 6, 2015—Construction declined by 1,000 in March but is still up by 282,000 compared to the prior year, as the sector's unemployment rate fell to 9.5%, according to an analysis by the Associated General Contractors of America.

Construction employment totaled 6,344,000 in March, compared to 6,345,000 in February and 6,062,000 in March 2014.
