Business Economists More Optimistic
Washington, DC, July 29, 2013 -- Business economists said their optimism had increased in the second quarter despite slowing sales.
In the quarterly survey conducted by the National Association for Business Economics, 29% of respondents said that payrolls were higher in the second quarter compared to the first.
That's the highest percentage since the fourth quarter of 2011.
Last quarter 22% said payrolls were higher than the previous quarter.
