Sint-Baafs-Vijve, Belgium, June 15, 2012 -- Balta Group said that CEO Jules Noten will leave his position on July 31 to pursue other career opportunities.
The company has named CFO Carl Verstraelen the interim CEO.
Balta said its sales have increased from 530 million euros in 2008 to 750 million euros in 2011 through growth in its existing business and the acquisition of Domo floor covering.
Balta said it is the second largest firm worldwide in machine-woven area rugs.
