Armstrong Wins Hanley's Brand Builder Award

Lancaster, PA, Oct. 30, 2013 -- Armstrong World Industries said it has won the Gold award for Excellence in Marketing in Hanley Wood’s First Annual Brand Builder Awards.

Armstrong said it was the only flooring company to be honored with a Brand Builder Award.

The program recognizes the most innovative and effective marketing campaigns throughout the residential and commercial design and construction industry.

Armstrong was honored for its campaign linking its American Scrape product with the cause Homes for Our Troops.

Armstrong is contributing approximately 100,000 square feet of engineered hardwood and Alterna engineered stone tile combined, both of which meet univeral design criteria for the severely injured vets’ homes.
