Armstrong To Raise Wood Prices Again

Lancaster, PA, Aug. 8, 2013 -- Armstrong said it will raise prices 3-10% in the U.S. and Canada on select solid hardwood products.

The increase will affect mostly wider width and non oak species, as well as select engineered hardwood products. The increase is effective with shipments on Sept. 13.

“We continue to see increases on both veneer and lumber costs, especially on certain species of lumber,” said Kevin Biedermann, senior vice president, Armstrong Residential Floor Products.
