American OEM Joins NWFA's Responsible Procurement Program

St. Louis, MO, June 23, 2016—American OEM has recently joined NWFA's Responsible Procurement Program (RPP)

The Responsible Procurement Program (RPP) is a joint initiative between leading environmental groups and wood flooring manufacturers committed to producing products that are sourced from environmentally and socially responsible sources.

Participating manufacturer members of the NWFA RPP include American OEM, Shaw/Anderson, Mannington, Mullican and Sheoga.

RPP has been accepted by NAHB's ICC/ASHRAE 700 National Green Building Standard and also recognized under the USGBC's LEED program for sustainable building practices. NGBS is the only residential green building rating system approved by ANSI as an American National Standard.

American OEM is a Tennessee based producer of engineered hardwood flooring lead by industry veteran Don Finkell.
