Abbey Carpet Taps Ken Sherwood as VP Franchise Development

Bonita Springs, FL, July 27, 2016—Ken Sherwood is joining Abbey Carpet Company as vice president franchise development—western and Rocky Mountain states.

Sherwood is a 37 year veteran of the flooring industry. Most recently he was vice president national accounts for the Beaulieu Group.

In addition to spending the last six years with Beaulieu, Sherwood was also with Shaw, Mohawk and Evans and Black. During his tenure with Beaulieu, Sherwood called on Abbey as one of his primary national accounts and, as a result, has familiarity with the company’s programs and understands the value of being a member.

In this newly created position, Sherwood will be responsible for prospecting and engaging qualified retailers for the purpose of joining either Abbey Carpet & Floor or Floors To Go. Additionally, during Sherwood’s travels he will visit existing members for the purpose of providing any assistance they may need.

Sherwood and his wife, Susan, will continue to reside in southern California.
